When reader Herbert Putz of Austria saw the last post with Marco Quadrelli’s photos from the Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Padova, Italy, he had to send in his own photos from the same event.
Herbert said “I would like to emphasize the beautiful Drogo Ferrari in blue.”
I appreciate it and I hope you all do as well, thank you Herbert.
This is such an elegant and simple interior with the traditional Ferrari shift gate. I would love to spend some time driving this classic Ferrari.
Drogo had a hand in making Bizzarrini GT 5300 bodies. This Ferrari can remind me of a Bizzarrini GT 5300 just a little.
Below are all of Herbert’s photos in a slide show.
The blue Drogo is a fascinating car with a mix of GTO themes and its own unique elements. There is (or was) a duplicate or replica of this body on a PF coupe in southern California that has been entirely done to GTO mechanical specs including 5-speed transmission and dry sump lubrication. I would love to have it or the one pictured here.
Stephen, do you have any pictures of the replica PF coupe?
I did take some photos of the car. I’ll email them to you. Feel free to post then if you like.
