I just learned this morning that noted Southern California Classic Car collector, Bruce Meyer, has bought the most successful of all the Bizzarrini race cars. Chassis No. 0222 won its class and was ninth overall at the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This Iso Grifo A3/C Bizzarrini was listed for sale by Fiskens.
I believe this is the first time that this special race car will have lived outside of Europe.
Bruce Meyer tells me that the car will arrive in California sometime in the coming Spring.
