At the very last minute – just before registration closed – I decided to sign up to take the Bizzarrini GT 5300 to Concorso Italiano.
I will be there with Bizzarrini No. 0256 in the Iso & Bizzarrini section, probably near the little blue rooms known as the restrooms (or toilets depending on where you are from).
There will be about 1,000 cars there and I believe I will have the only Bizzarrini at Concorso Italiano this year. If you go don’t forget it is on Saturday (August 16) and back at the Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside.
Stop by the Bizzarrini and say hello!
We moved to Carmel from Monte Sereno in late April but I had not yet relocated the Bizzarrini from it’s long time home at Borelli Motor Sports which is inside Club Auto Sport in San Jose, California.
I was a little nervous about moving the Bizzarrini from a place where it had been for more than five years but the decision to take it to Concorso Italiano forced my hand.
All of the photos here were taken today as the Bizzarrini arrived.

It will be good to see 0256 always pleasing to the eye and ears.
When Frank M ran CI the Iso Bizzarrini club always got a good location, maybe because we were the second club to join the Maserati guys in their celebration, which eventually turned into CI.
Now with the new owners we get the banos oh well it’s still a fun day.
