During Monterey Car Week the Monterey Peninsula always has interesting cars driving around or parked on the street or in parking lots. These collector cars are being used for transportation and are not part of an event near by like a show, auction or race.
They may participate in one of these events later but when these photos were taken they were being used as transportation.
Many people drive their special cars during Monterey Car Week because it is the right thing to do. It makes the streets of Carmel and Monterey a terrific car show and fun just to walk or drive around.
Here are my photos, I saw many more but was not quick enough with the camera to get a photo especially when I was driving.
