by Mike –
I just returned home from a long day driving the Bizzarrini GT 5300 to Hillsborough and back to display at the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance with my friend Michael Menetto.
It was a terrific day, the event, the cars, the people and the weather.
Here are some of my favorite photos – more will be published later plus a video, I think.
Iso Grifo No. 009 won it’s class and Bizzarrini No. 0256, which was display only, was invited to drive up to the podium as part of the Parade d’Elegance where I and several other owners had to drive up to the stage and answer questions from the announcer.
Read about this Aston Martin Le Mans race car here.
Great shots, that Aston Vantage has an incredible restoration with amazing detail. The DB4 Zagato was a LeMans runner and was the leading car up until the last hour.
Thank you for the info – this car will be featured on My Car Quest tomorrow.
I decided to post it now, here: https://mycarquest.com/2013/07/a-beautiful-aston-martin-db4-gt-zagato-race-car-at-hillsborough.html
Oops I spoiled the surprise, sorry.
