2022 is in the rear view mirror and 2023 is now here!
During this eventful past year we saw changes in domestic and world politics, the economy, the stock market, society, technology, covid, new cars, old cars and more. Some things got better and some things did not get better. We also had a new war start for no good reason.
The transition to electric vehicles is accelerating even though we are not nearly ready.
On a personal note I sold the Lamborghini Espada and two of our sweet cats died of old age. I am happy to say that both my wife and I are doing fine.
My thanks to all who have contributed to My Car Quest by either providing content or donations and I am especially thankful to Wallace Wyss for his many contributions.
I hope the new year brings you all that you desire.
“New Year’s Day: now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual . . . New Year’s is a harmless annual institution, of no particular use to anybody save as a scapegoat for promiscuous drunks, and friendly calls, and humbug resolutions.” — Mark Twain

Happy New Year Mike – to you and the “My Car Quest” family. I’m attaching this 1941 New Year’s clip art that suggests our need for speed and zippy cars is really nothing new. All the best in ’23! ~Jim
