by Don Meluzio –
This past weekend my son Derek and I attended the Carlisle Import and Kit Car Show. We were also joined by my friend Rob Maselko, you may remember Rob wrote the article on Lombardi Gran Prixs right here on My Car Quest.
Carlisle Events is most famous for the Corvettes at Carlisle Event every August. It is the largest gathering of Corvettes in the World.
Back to The Import Show. My son and I brought my Fiat Abarth Record Monza, and my Iso Rivolta, and Rob brought his Lancia Beta Scorpion. It is an import show, but I am only reporting on some of the Italian Cars although there were German, British, Swedish, French, and Japanese cars represented.
It was a very busy day, and I always look forward to this show because it really brings out a very knowledgeable crowd. It is also a judged event, and Derek and I were very well aware of some good cars in our class. Especially a beautiful Bianchina that the owner restored himself. It was really cute, and very well prepared. I am very happy to say that my Iso Rivolta won Favorite Italian Car.
We had a wonderful day explaining what an Iso Rivolta was. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Congrats, Don, what a feat. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh (or in the steel?) next week.
